After seeing http://vimeo.com/17535548 I just had to see what I could accomplish by painting textures on a model, and took it as a good opportunity to learn how to use Blender’s texture painting system.

The model here is Suzanne, she’s the monkey that comes with the program, in lieu of the default teapot that most programs have.

After an infuriating hour or two trying to find documentation for why-things-weren’t-working, I finally got it working, and this is the result!

There’s some moderate shading on this image, but most of it is painted in.
