Taken literally it's likely either they got into a fight and had to patch up at home because they'd either be arrested at the hospital for said fight, they can't afford it, or hospitals don't exist anymore. Car crash or another accident could result in the same.
Given the colors and style I think its more likely just some emo crap. Either way it's not at all furry related so it really doesn't need to be on here.
