Description:  
This is one of the early concept arts released with Freedom Planet 2’s announcement. It shows a few important new characters of the game. I wasn’t sure about the too simple too cartoon style in this version, so I asked Stephen DiDuro twitter.com/SDiDuro the core dev of FP2 for permission to experiment various art styles, and he approved.
 
After the initial release  
I had experimented with fans on twitter for months, and the actual game will have art style like this:
