Beigan 北竿 - Formosan sika deer (The Daqiu island of Beigan is hibitat of deers)
Juguang 莒光 - White dogs (The two islands Dongju and Xiju was called “White Dogs” in Chinese before because its terrain looks like two dogs on the water)
Dongyin 東引 - Greater crested tern (The island is hibitat of terns)
