*of course, there’s no lead in this pencil, but the cubs don’t know that :3
Still having fun with these ancient pencils. I’m trying to give some character to them, while I wait for my mechanical replacement.
Today, I thought to use this ‘Sundance’ pencil produced by the Blackfeet Indian Pencil Co. (TBIPC). TBIPC is a nostalgic brand for some, esp. those who live in the SW USA. The company, of course, doesn’t exist anymore and, as they were once available in abundance, they were used by a great many persons in my country.
I thought the name ‘Sundance’ seemed appropriate for this cartoon. The sun is out, and Gene hopes to beat the heat by stripping down as much as he can. Mimi doesn’t mind, of course, but, alas, Gene’s bather has been colored with a pencil containing lead. Not good!
Now, Mimi has seen Gene nude many a time, but Gene doesn’t like the idea of Mimi removing his bather (count that as the answer to questions I know would come otherwise). ^^
I’m just bored and unhappy. I’m sitting here with a bottle of Yellowtail, telling myself Jesus wouldn’t drink the whole bottle, as I’m tempted to do now. :(
