Hi folks. Sam Brazos here with a reminder that today, June 1st, marks the start of the Atlantic hurricane season. And the NOAA is predicting a very active one. They’re saying there could be anywhere from 17 to 25 storms! It had been relatively quiet these last couple of seasons, so I think we might be overdue for a good storm (or two) this time, if you ask me. Also, I’m aware that there’s a “Summer Event” that’s supposed to be happening too. If the storms pose a threat, the event may be paused until the danger has passed. Be sure to follow your local news for those that are located along the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic. Thank you and enjoy your day.
