Now, I didn’t get into Archie Sonic until #107, so I never grew up with Ken until they brought him back several years later. He was kind of an oddball, but he eventually grew on me, like a more aggressive version of Sonic, in a way.

I wanted to boost his look while keeping the Chinese style, so pointy boots! :) I like pointy boots. The yin yang symbol would be on the back of his new robe, and I left the staff the way it was because it was already simple enough. I thought about bringing some of his cybernetic body to the surface, but I wondered if it would be too complicated. I might explore the idea later. Simple yet complex, that’s our monkey boy.
