I drew a little sketch of Juno in this pose and finally found the right scene for it. Clearly she likes to get outdoors a lot, and takes no issue with doing it her way. Getting away from the daily grind can be so rejuvenating, although it seems like she gets the chance to do so with enviable frequency . . . As long as she keeps a GPS signal, Juno should have no problem exploring the wilderness to her heart’s desire.

The whole process for this picture really got dragged out, with so many other things happening in life, and trying to get some inspired time for art in the middle of a couple of moves. I’m glad to see this one finished and get to one of the other wips I have desperately waiting for attention. Meanwhile, the weather is soon going to be perfect for hiking/backpacking around here, especially up in the mountains. Even as summer’s ending, the best opportunities to get outdoors are coming up.
