Perl is visiting Chico and Mirty during the potato harvest. Most of their farm is automated, with big harvesting machines tending to the large fields mostly on their own, but the two salamanders also like to keep a small kitchen garden where they grow food by hand. Perl, being a synth, doesn’t know much about the food organics eat, so Chico enlightens her on the significance of potatoes.
