This is what makes Simba one of, if not my favourite character of all time. Simba is so much deeper than many give him credit for - he’s one of few characters I can think of who has PTSD. And he manages to overcome it to an extent with his decision to return to the Pride Lands and take responsibility. I relate a lot to Simba’s journey - particularly lately, as I’ve been battling my own mental health demons and doing what I can to take responsibility too :3
