Pepper’s favorite food is bananas. Chuck’s favorite food is peanut butter. But what’s Parry’s favorite food? Since he got his light manipulation powers from radioactive SunnyD being poured onto him, perhaps one of the mutations Parry developed was a higher tolerance for oranges than is normal for dogs. So eating oranges or drinking orange juice will give Parry a boost in power, and causes his stomach to start glowing as it digests the orange down. Of course this probably means Parry gets asked at parties whether he can shoot rainbows from his stomach like a Care Bear. :/ Just because Parry is a dog doesn’t mean it’s ok to demand he do tricks like his four-legged brethren! Parry’s glowing stomach ability is similar to how CurtisLupus ’s dragon Arthur can make his stomach light up and grow very warm. This seems like a skill the both of them would be proud to share.
