Back in my college days I really had it in my head that I wanted to be a pilot. Sadly, this would ultimately become impossible due to vision problems (I cannot percieve distance due to a bad left eye), but in 2003-2004 when I was doing my first year of college I didn’t know that and immersed myself in the (admittedly arcadey) flying games out on the Xbox, Gamecube, Dreamcast, and PC. I also went through a brief and very expensive period of experimenting with RC planes, which were only just beginning to be electricity-based and practical.

As such, I went to Terriekitten to get this picture, featuring me as a young early pilot in a primitive aircraft, flying to the heavens to get a feather from an angel cat woman I was spending a lot of time with in Furcadia. Sadly, Terriekitten left the fandom around this time, and I don’t remember the name of the angel cat featured in this pic, but it was still a great find.
