I will admit, I’ve never really gotten into the whole Akira Slide Meme, but I’ll be the first one to admit this one was a lot of fun to work on.

As memes go this one goes further beyond the internet, there’s movies and cartoons making references to it, so it’s a meme that goes beyond medium. It is very funny though, when drawing it the dust trails weren’t added until the very end, so that Chocobo stayed there looking menacingly like “What of it pal? Wanna have a go?”

Great fun. Cool bird. Cooler Mog. Enjoyed this one from start to finish, I even had fun drawing those tiles, that’s how fun this one was.
