marmelmm and I exchanged some comments about this pic that prompted me to finally draw Robin Hood’s foxy vixen…, in my usual fashion!
 
As I understand it, “Maying” was the medieval way of celebrating the advent of spring by gamboling about outdoors and enjoying nature…, sort of an ancestor to a hippie retreat? Well, combining a couple of my favourite scenarios was too appealing to pass up! Maid Marian’s taking a break from dancing and is just enjoying the sunshine away from the crowd…, after removing her gown!
