Shift-Tec is holding an event this evening, and the ever-fashionable Ms. Afolabi was made for formal dress occasions! Here, we see her in the early stages of her preparations, straightening out the leggings she’ll be wearing in place of her boots. She’s been waiting for the opportunity to try this new outfit, a qipao-inspired jacket, drape, and skirt combo. It’s as fashionably daring as we’ve all come to expect from Ms. Afolabi, without giving up on her sharp, professional aesthetic. Since she won’t have her boots, she’ll be completing the ensemble with a set of four cloven hoof slippers. They’ll give her the tread she needs under her, but wont interfere with the rest of the outfit in the same way that her more leg-wrapping hoofwear would.
