The main character “Taerang” and sub character “Jinjin” are personified animals. A little tiger has become the motif of “Taerang” while Jindo Dog, a Korean national treasure, has been adopted to represent “Jinjin.” Each symbolizes integrity and patience trained through Taekwondo. Another sub character “Baegun Dosa (Grand Master Baegun)’’ is the master of “Taerang” and “Jinjin.” A real figure, an aged taekwondo master, who once worked at Taekwondowon Observatory has become the motif of this character.
