I decided to think up a few pins to add to my new beanie, because there is space that isn’t filled!! What better way than to make some cute little pins showing off what I like? I messed around with Dall-E 3. (which is noticeably better than Dall-E 2 at paying attention to your specific prompts!)

I still think AI is scary, and it’s uncertain what the future will hold in terms of creative jobs. I think it’s a conversation that we should be having, and what uses it should be ethically allowed to do. Everyone has an idea for what should and shouldn’t be allowed with it. Personally, I refuse to integrate any AI designed images into products that I sell. Anything I sell comes directly from the minds of me and my partner. For personal use though, I think it’s a really neat tool and helps me access skills that I don’t have. It’s a double edged sword.

These little guys were made at slightly different speed/power. I just recently came across Lightburn libraries, which allow you to drag and drop saved settings onto an engrave depending on how you want it to come out and what material you’re using. Time to do some organization of my settings!!!
