My friend Nirvah Nirvah, someone that’s special to me and that I really care about was diagnosed with cancer over a month ago. Being far away from him in another country I couldn’t visit him. I felt like there was nothing I could do to help him fight this awful disease. I was feeling scared and terrified of losing yet another person that I care about.
Since I couldn’t be there in person I had the idea to comission the extremely talented NardoIri NardoIri to make it so I could at least be with him through art. I don’t think any art that I’ve ever had has meant this much to me as this one, I just can’t express how much I love this, and it made me happy to know that Der felt the same once I showed it to him.

Der, you can beat this! You’re the strongest person that I’ve ever met. Thank you for giving me the opportunity of getting to know you and being your friend, thank you for putting up with me and withstanding my constant worrying. I truly love you from the bottom of my heart and there’s nothing I want more right now than to see you healed and healthy again. If I could take it away from you, I wouldn’t think twice. I trust you’re gonna make it and I hope I’ll be around to celebrate with you when the time comes.
