A preview of what’s to come in the future!! I finally managed to get my dual extruder running, so I’m making a bit of a personal project here. These will be useable as actual espresso mugs! A lot of work goes into making sure it’s food safe. It must be printed in Pla or petg with pigments that are non toxic and food safe. Natural color Pla will be used in the final product as to introduce as little pigment as possible. After it’s printed in a clean environment, it is sanded until all layer lines are minimized/gone. The finish on it is required to be a food certified epoxy resin. After 3 coats of that, it should be food ready to use as a drink cup! Downside is, it is handwash only unless you want a melty surprise inside the dishwasher.

It’s a long road ahead to get these ready to sell. This one will just be used as display for motivation for the future. I can’t wait to design my own mugs. What an exciting journey I’m making for myself.
