Sorry but Httyd 3 feels a giant fan-fiction to me and the light fury is easily the worst part. Every creative decision regarding her completely fails to capture anything the filmmakers were “trying” to go for. (being wild,regal,or mysterious) They feminized the damn animal so much it’s LAUGHABLELY bad, this isn’t even the first time the director has had a love interest character be a feminized nightmare (experiment 624 from Lilo and Stitch). I hate the light fury but laughing at how the movie makers failed to convey anything with the character feels much more deserving since they are at fault. They also never give her a name but they named her 3 abhorrently designed abortions……funny that.
Sooooooooo, here’s my complete redesign. Instead of a Light Fury, meet the Gale Fury, a sea faring dragon that has evolved to take to the skies during storms. Markless and her colony guard the borders to the “Hidden World” as the Vikings call it.
