Lastly is Movie Sonic, the year 2019-2020 of this design of Sonic. As many of us heard years ago, it was announced that a Sonic the Hedgehog movie was going to be made, many fans including me were excited to here that a movie was being made. When it said that it was going to be live-action CGI, it made fans to question the design of Sonic of how he would be in a real life world environment until we saw leaks of what we saw, including the first poster that every made memes about because he had actual human legs. When the first trailer came out, we all got excited but then it turns out it was the worst, most disgusting thing that we have ever seen and I still remember this day how silent I was when seeing the first design. I had a bad feeling that it wasn’t going to end will with the Meow? meme and Gangster’s Paradise that was used for the first trailer. Sonic did not look like himself at all from the design ethics that they chose him to be realistic in human and hedgehog parts.

Of course the outcry of us fans of Sonic and those who aren’t fans of Sonic called out to Jeff Fowler to change the design and he did exactly that with the help of Tyson Hesse who has animated the majority the Sonic animations and has made some issues of the Sonic comics. It was thanks to Tyson that Sonic looked like Sonic, he didn’t had to be full complete video game, he had to look less disgusting. With the new trailer and new release date of the movie after the last date was supposed to be on November 2019 to February 2020, many of the fans where overjoyed that the redesign happened and that he looked much better than before from have a weird human proportion body, white hands instead of gloves, his shoes not looking like his iconic shoes, not showing too much of his teeth, and of course we can’t forget about Jim Carrey be Dr. Robotnik which we all new as a very good choice to be him so that wasn’t an issue.

Thanks to the first movie release and how big it did at the box office to become the number one movie in the world, it got a sequel, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will be release next year in April 2022 with a character we all know, Miles “Tails” Prower, and with the leaks we’ve seen recently, Knuckles the Echidna.

Movie Sonic has now been a huge part of Sonic’s history because of the movie and that more is to come, after the disaster of the first design of Sonic, many of us knew that movie would not have made it out. It would of done poorly and the sequel would of never happened. We have to thank Jeff Fowler for listening to us to redesign him and having Tyson Hesse to really make him feel more Sonic. I watch a video of someone talking about this dude on Twitter where he said that Jeff shouldn’t have listen to fans and should of kept the first design. He was salty.

Overall, I love Movie Sonic, I’m very grateful that I saw the first movie and ready to see the next one next year and this is my first Movie Sonic drawing, I think I outdid myself on this one.
