To this day I am still haunted by that day. I doubt I will ever forget it.

But as awful and as sad as that tragic day was, I am always reminded that God is still in control, and no amount of terror will ever change that. Why God let this event happen, I probably will never know. But He will always be there for us when we are scared, sad, helpless, hurt, etc. because He promised that He always will. God hears every cry, He sees every tear, and sees the blood that is spilled, and He will never let that go unpunished. And all the people who were responsible for this attack will one day have to stand before God Himself and answer for the lives they took. People may escape justice here on Earth, but they will never escape God’s justice.

Although the world is a crazy place, especially now with pandemics, more terror, chaos, hatred, natural disasters, etc. we can always look to God for hope and peace. And one day, when God says so, He will order all of His faithful followers to come home to Him in Heaven, and put an end to all evil for good. So be of good cheer, and be ready for Christ’s return!

May we never forget the victims and heroes of 9/11!
