Chita the Cat

I drew this last month for an art challenge someone was doing note: I rarely ever enter challenges becuase they are not contests so theres really not much in it for me. I will only enter them if I feel I have a character absolutely no one in their right mind would pick.

and last month I did…. this is Chita shes a character from Fritz the cat and she is the most adorable little kitty ever and she has such a cute voice! it’s all raspy and Hispanic. she was perfect for the challenge!–buuuut unfortunately this picture did not fit in the constraints of the challenge frame so I couldn’t enter and I figured “fuck that I don’t need no one putting restrictions on what dimensions I make MY art” so lets just file this under the fan art category, Plus it came out too cute for me not to share, I tried a new approach to shading with this ( I doubt anyone will be able to pick up on the difference but have fun trying) The shading is the only thing I really like on this anyways.

to those of you who have never heard of or seen Fritz the Cat - I would link you to the movie but it’s kinda er—adult for me to just put here, but it’s really easy to find, I mean REAL easy ( like google easy) I love Chita shes my favorite character from the movie ( Fritz’s wife is high on the list too) so I hope you enjoy her!
