It’s okay, Rachel. There’s always next time.
The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup final ended this weekend, and while normally I don’t pay any attention to sports, the fact that New Zealand was one of the co-hosts made it unavoidable, and I dare say I enjoyed what I saw. Rachel was less than impressed with the final, though. She can tolerate England losing, but losing to Spain is where she draws the line.
I’m sure she’ll go out and sink a few Spanish ships later to get even.
