Even brave adventurers need some good rest and a hot meal in the evening, after a hard day of travelling, dungeon crawling and dealing with horrible monsters!

This is a D&D-themed “Big Monster” tier commission for xanderh, AwwShuck on Twitter and Shalak, featuring their respective characters from left to right: River, Shuck and Jip.

It took me months to finish this commission (work and life got in the way quite a bit), but everyone has been super patient and just amazing with me the whole time, so working on this project has truly been an absolute pleasure for me.
Personally I have to say I’m extramely happy with how this work turned out. I feel this is one of the best colored drawings I’ve completed this year, especially in regard to light effects: they turned out just as I imagined them, which is quite a rare occurrence! ^^
