You should know that this little story didn’t just come to me randomly; I made it for a comic contest. Since I hardly ever see any comic contests in my country, I immediately jumped at the chance. The aim of the contest was to create a four-page comic for children in either 6–12 or 12+ categories. The contest also had a theme: “transformation”. After some enthusiastic brainstorming, I came up with a very short story, and aiming at the 12+ category, I created this little comic. I had to be lightning fast because, unfortunately, I found out about this contest very late, so I only had two weeks to start and finish the whole thing… XP And on top of that, I got the flu just when I had to start working on it, so I had to do the whole thing while I was sick XD Maybe that’s what made this whole comic so memorable for me :D

The point is, in the end, I didn’t achieve any placings in the contest, so my comic didn’t make it into the comic book where the winners will be published. I’m not going to lie; I was pretty bummed because of that, but I thought I’d console myself with the fact that at least now I’ll have the opportunity to share the whole thing with you :) So I hope you’ll enjoy this little comic ^^
