Description
Was bored and uninspired, so decided to do more Sanic stoof
A tribal Sonic AU. This is probably more complex than my old one, though, as the different Mobian species follow different cultures/dressage inspired by different tribal cultures in real life. Then again, this is just a fun little concept I had to doodle out.
Based on what I have seen about Knuckles’ canon backstory, his people lived a Mayan-type style, so there’s that
Since the most common hedgehog species, to my knowledge, is the African Pygmy Hedgehog, I drew inspiration for this Sonic from the Zulu tribe of Southern Africa
(and used Sonic-CD inspired palette and physical design XD)
For Tails…well, foxes are fluffy, and fluff is associated with keeping critters warm in cold conditions, so I decided to draw inspiration from the Inuit people of Alaska.</sub>
