The motes of time, having failed to coalesce, drift back into the etherial and disappear, unable to again be called to the physical world till their true time. Hours of concentration, of reaching out with her very soul that threatened to snap the fragile cords that make body and spirit one, wasted. A slight but incessant sound had found it’s way into her sanctum and had broken the trance required to perform the calling.

She is not happy.

“If it’s that same damn pizza delivery guy come to the wrong address again”, she thought, “I will sprinkle his diced heart on the pizza…. and refuse to pay the additional topping cost ! “

11 x 14 color pencil

I kind of overstepped my comfort zone on this one and took way longer than I had planned. Learned a lot though, do’s and don’ts.

I know there are anatomy and other problems but I would still like to get critique to point out the problems so I may be able to do better on the next one.

Shot with camera but colors are pretty close. Will probably go back in and adjust a few things as I see them.

This will probably be for sale in the AC art show…if I don’t leave my portfolio case in the front yard like I did for MFF.

Thanks to all who tool the time to critique this piece during its creation. It’s far from perfect but far better than it would have been without your help : )
