The character’s name is Mariko and due to her anatomy she has some special needs when it comes to clothing.
One thing that is often a trick is figuring out how to tackle long sleeves or gloves when there are wings attached to the arms. With bat type wings I’ve seen other artists try tricks like piercing the flight membrane to allow thin straps to pass around the arms to secure the sleeve or glove. However I’ve never been a big fan of this because I’ve felt like it weakens the flight membrane. Because if your survival might depend on it not failing a thousand feet up then poking holes in it might be wise.
So in this case I used springy metal bands to hold the gloves in place. Yes you probably wouldn’t want to go out and do acrobatics with them on or fly long distances, but for short hops they should stay in place.
