It’s been almost three years since I photographed that sundog and upside down rainbow I saw in summer! For those who have not seen them, here are links to some of my photos.

I’ve wanted to do some sort of drawing inspired from these photos, and I finally redid an old sketch I had from 2019 of an anthro sun dog character. This dog Parry was once an ordinary dog, but one day he got radioactive Sunny-D poured onto him. He then gained the ability to unleash the power of the Sun and can now generate and manipulate light. He can now put on amazing light shows creating artificial halos in the sky. This origin story will be told in my upcoming comic book Parry the Sundog volume 1, coming out never.
