I enjoyed painting the background for this. The architecture is an esthetic I really enjoy, but one I’ve never had the opportunity to draw before. And yes, the lynx are living in a desert oasis here. When I first drew the sketch I legit just… forgot lynxes in real life are usually from high altitude forests and snowy regions. XD Maybe TK lynxes are just different, or this is an offshoot tribe. Perhaps their big paws help with the soft shifting sands and the fluffy coats are for cold desert nights instead.
