This is another character from one of his story worlds named Kaily. You can read more about her at his website here: jimkoyot.sofurry.com/.
This piece was a bit different from my usual works on two major accounts.
The first being, the characters personality. Which is a bit of the crafty, sassy street pickpocket sort. Of course the character itself isn’t that simple but this is definitely a portrayal of one of her emotional “sides”. It was an interesting divergence from my typical character personas.
The second challenge was the fact that the character was to look Androgynous (Partly male and partly female in appearance; of indeterminate sex.). So I settled on the pose as being the main tool in which I’d use to portray the characters femininity. If I was entirely successful or not I don’t know. Lol All I know is that when I showed a friend of mine the piece they jumped right to referring to the character as a male, without being given any of the characters back story, Does that mean I was successful? Or did I make the character look too male? As stated before, I have no idea. Jimkoyot seemed to like it so that’s all that matters to me. _
In the end, it was a very fun adventure into new territory, and a pleasure as always to working for Jimkoyot, Thanks again and I look forward to our next project! _
