It should be no secret to anyone who’s been following me for a while that the cast of 101 Dalmatian Street as anthros has been one of my all-time favorite subjects. So I thought, why not give the same treatment to some other members of the classic cast as well?~

A few notes on my six picks:

-Pongo and Perdita were just mandatory to be included here, being the constant in all original incarnations. Rather than just copypasting Roger and Anita’s clothing on them, though, I gave them something original and slightly more contemporary (but still vintage).

-Patch was, as far as I am concerned, the most remarkable of the original Dalmatians sans Pongo and Perdi. In fact, he was one of the few with well defined personality and design (he did get to star on his own movie after all), so it made sense that he’d be the next choice.

-Oddball I admit I bent the rules with. I didn’t realize until later that she was originally made for the 102 Dalmatians film and was nowhere present in previous incarnations. But eventually I figured she could become the rep for the live-action films in general. Besides, it wouldn’t be the first time artists reinterpet her as being from the original litter.

-Finally, of course I had to include characters from the 90s’ show. Sure, Lucky and Cadpig were both in older entries (the former in the original movie, the latter in the books), but without a doubt, their most famous incarnations were from the aforementioned TV series.

Because all these different entries were set in different time periods, I threw consistency out the window and opted for an anachronistic array of outfits for them, ranging from the 60s to the 80s, based on what to me felt fitting to their characters.

There’s so much more I could explain about my reinterpretations but I don’t think it’s worth going through. So I hope you enjoy them! And rest assured, I do intend to more than just a lineup with them in the future~
