Dib’s all grown up! Well, not quite, but here’s a 17-year-old-Dib.

So I love the idea of Irken’s aging 1 year for every 10 human years (I don’t care if this is canon or not, I just love it), so while Zim has been 16 the whole time he’s known Dib, Dib has not been 12 as long. He’s changed a lot in height, personality, and walks-of-life. He’s almost an adult now and the slow-aging Irken just doesn’t grasp how quickly things change on Earth with humans, so Zim is very much still stuck in his own world where everything is the same just as it was 5 years ago.

Instead of chasing and trying to expose the Zim for the alien he is, Dib is now trying to make sure Zim doesn’t get into too much trouble. The little alien is still a menace, but his evil plans are now being thwarted by a human with intentions on protecting, not only Earth, but Zim as well. Zim, of course, is just fueled more into believing that things aren’t changing as rapidly as it really is because it’s still business as usual with him and Dib always at ends with each other.

Now Dib can drive and often takes Zim Out for snack runs.
