Note: This is a slightly revised version from FA. Got a few helpful comments pointing out a few things and worked to fix them.
12 x 14 graphite pencil
I needed something to work on at RMFC so I did a quick sketch and laid her out just before I left. I’m going to do a color version of her and I thought it might be an Idea to do a graphite version to work out the kinks first. I haven’t done a serious graphite piece in years and forgotten how fun it is to use and how fast even though I’ve forgotten most of the techniques I used way back then.
I drew her almost entirely at RMFC and threw in a simple BG this weekend.
Half way threw the sketch faze, I stopped and wrote most of the first draft of a short story about her and am working on the second draft now. I might actually get this done in a reasonable amount of time. I got some pointers and inspiration at a panel at RMFC.
I will probably post the color version along with the story in early fall.
