ride the wave!! (Collab Cover for L+S 20th Zine) - by TechnicolorBarenzu

Hello, welcome to the point where I become a big emotional blob because I love this franchise too much and we did amazing work on this zine!

So this here is the official and collaborative final cover to our zine, as done by myself, AngoraRam, StarryBlast9, Strayva, MrNiffler and Nexaferret. Our cover idea was heavily inspired by that of the original DVD/VHS release artwork for “Lilo & Stitch”. You know, back when it released on home media! But of course, we twisted it around and mixed in not just old faces, but new ones too (between new faces in the franchise and OCs from all of us), all in an efforts to ride the wave here. The wave background was by me, but characters and effects were a very collaborative effort between a bunch of us. Character-wise, here’s the breakdown:

TechnicolorBarenzu: Lilo & Stitch, Main Triverse (Yuna Kamihara, Kyozuki Yamada, Yaiko Galaxia)
StarryBlast9: Yin and Cannonball
AngoraRam: Sinker
MrNiffler: Mr. Niffler and Petra
Strayva: Lyra
Nexaferret: Yeila

A collaboration like this with everyone was a dream come true and I’m beyond ecstatic I was able to work with these wonderful individuals on something this big and grand! The end result still looks breathtaking the more I look at it. Hope it’s of the same effect for you too~!
