Description

Dande-Lions that is! :P
Here’s another commission for one of my Patrons. This time of his Wolf/Fox Hybrid, Tanya, dancing in a field of dandelions.
At the time I was wanting to attempt another Dynamic piece, in the same light as my past work “Winter’s Dance” but only had a pose in mind. So I proposed the idea to my Patron and asked if he’d be interested in funding the project, and have a character of his portrayed, and he kindly obliged!
Always love when situations like that arise, I’ve always found more pleasure in making art for others while incorporating their ideas rather than completely doing work from scratch and from my own mind. Much more rewarding and fun in my book!_
I suppose I function best as an interpreter or visualizer of ideas and visions rather than purely a creator of art so to speak.
On the technical side of things, this was the first time I’ve used a Wacom Tablet to add in white highlights. I really LOVE the results, I see room for improvement of course but it was a great first attempt and a successful proof of concept!
As mentioned in my last piece, I am aiming to use digital tools and editing to “Augment” my Traditional works, also to help better portray my Physical colored works here in the digital realm. Which as many of you know, I’ve complained constantly in the past about the sad fact I couldn’t properly share my works with you, because of my scanner! But hopefully things will be different now. It’s going to take more work and time to complete a piece but it’ll be worth it! _
As always, a HUGE thank you to my Patron who made this piece possible! Its always a real pleasure working on projects for ya! _
And to everyone else, Enjoy!
