he Golden Sea is one of the most inhospitable places on earth, and yet hundreds of nomadic tribes manage to survive in these scorching sands. The desert nomads have an almost symbiotic relationship with the giant Raa’kish birds, on which they heavily rely for transportation and warfare. In order to keep the high number of Raa’kish birds they need, nomads are forced to move constantly in order to find enough food for their mounts. This sometimes mean raiding the settlements of the sedentary Tol’kahir… also because those city-dwelling weaklings tend to build city states around the best oasis, and nomads need water too!
This warrior is keeping guard at the edge of the camp for the night. There are most likely several others hidden all around the perimeter, ready to warn the other tribe members at the first sign of anything suspicious!

Even if the prompt was “camp” I still managed to sneak in an armor design. :P This time I also used some digital tricks to make that dark gradient towards the sky, and also to paint the stars and the moons’ light. I think it really improved the overall mood!
