Your feelings are valid. Put this person out of your mind and continue. There are of course a lot of bad people out there in the art world but you’re only dulling your own shine by not continuing. Think instead of all the art you’ll create and how happy you’ll feel improving your skill!

This fetish artist called me a shameful artist for calling them out on their fetish of harming some characters in their snuff art. That’s very cowardly for a professional to say that to a small account seeking no attention and I’m taking art lessons but these people make it very hard for me to continue.
