Thanks! Actually, I just edited this screencap from Tell Your Tale* and no, it's not a trace, it's an edited screencap.
The difference between tracing and edited screencap:
Tracing: This is when you want to redraw over someone else's artwork and you don't want to credit the person with having the artwork traced. That's tracing. I had to stop tracing on Furbooru because of my warning. But I still continue to do it on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and as well as on my arts community sites where I'm more active there.
Modified screencap: this is when someone wants to base on a more specific screencap of an anime. So you just have to do the number E which means "Edited Screencap" if necessary. I always add the tag "Edited Screencap" on Furbooru and sometimes I credit in the description the image (or screencap) from where the drawing is edited.
