I had to smoosh the title, because I just found out that these two adorable dancers have names! Ben Ali Gator and Hyacinth Hippo. :heart:

Anyhoo, my sister ~zimeta08 commented the other day that it had been a while since my last “Couples” piece, so I figured it was time! :giggle:
I had a lot of fun doing this one! Still a few things that bug me about this piece, though. <:^/ However, I’m still quite fond of it.

When I was little, The Dance of the Hours was probably my favorite segment of Fantasia (along with the Pastoral ). It had ballet, and it had romance. That’s all you needed to catch my attention when I was little (….it’s still kinda true for me today).

Those of you who are musical fans probably recognize the pose I did, here. I referenced it from that famous sequence in An American in Paris where Gene Kelly is dancing all awesome-like with Leslie Caron. (Yeah, reference actually worked okay for me in this instance.)
