My contribution to the RARE 2012 Anthro Calendar and the theme of this years calendar is: Mythological Anthros.

I got to draw the Great Dragon.
I spent a long time researching for the origin of the mythology and since it has so many different beginnings and corners, the ‘true’ depiction of the Great Dragon would be by far not as imposing as this one.

Therefore I decided for the archetype of the dragon and made it a tad bigger.
