Batilda The Mushroom Witch
Batilda is a member of the Mushin race, a goblin like creature that lives in the deeper parts of the forest or caves were it is dark and moist.

Although Batilda is very adept at her magical craft, Mushin’s poses very little Bri “The inner earth magic residing in all living creatures” and have to feed off of the Bri in other beings in order to create their magic. The Mushin’s use a special type of magic called Spore magic, their bodies convert the Bri of other beings which the mushroom cap that grows from their heads releases as a fine magical powder that can be used in all sorts of enchantments. Besides creating spore magic the mushroom that grows from their heads act as a parasol protecting them from the sun, however if the mushroom cap get to dry the Mushin’s whole body will shrink and shrivel up into a little dried shroom until then next time it rains or is exposed to some other kind of moisture again.

In Mushin society they have a hierarchy were the largest Mushin be comes their queen cause the size of a mushins mushroom indicates to how much magic they possess.

Thought of this creature some time ago, but never had a design planned out for it, little bit based on creature from some old “Germanic I think” folktales. I plan on using her somehow in the next tip jar expansion event.

Mushin is a name from the combination of the words Mushroom and Goblin.
