Wow, just wow. This image looks absolutely incredible. The detail with the grass and different varieties of flowers, along with how the light refracts through the vegetation, gives this image a very serene feel that I absolutely love. And the character drawing is just as impressive, really. The use of a bird fits in well since they are one of the most common sights in a traditional garden. The artist gave the bird a very curious expression, as if she is looking at something that interests her in the distance. And the way they conveyed that with subtle movements of the limbs, along with the facial expression and the lighting across her face being slightly obstructed by the hat, really makes her character come to life in a way rarely found in these kinds of paintings. Add the subtle flow of the wind through the skirt, and you have a truly amazing composition. “Scenery porn” doesn’t do this kind of image justice, as this really belongs in a fine art museum
