Description

”…begin as a dream.”
Still wasn’t happy with my sonas. And was mulling around this design for months which is why if you were following some sites you may have peeked some elderly looking characters of various species sprinkled here and there (way back in time). I wanted a character that could fly and visually fit any (cartoon) world instead of sticking to a singular universe. I definitely like Thraugh for the Shee, but they only exist in the Shee world. And Gweeb is kinda a cute catchall for cartoons, but very outdated to my personal journeys I’ve had since his creation. I needed something more. And I knew I wanted it to do with magic stemming from dreams and stories as that’s very crucial to my imagination. A character that would begin every tale, and weave it into something visual and physical. Like a wizarding storyteller. A character ppl would go to for rest, comfort, to receive a crucial element to the journey, guidance, or spiritual uplifting. It would look like a cameo across universes, but they exist outside them from an otherworldly place, popping into theirs.
I also knew I wanted someone old. I don’t get to live as long as others so one of my wishes is that I simply get to grow old. Despite that I have lived a LOT in the time I have had. In some areas a bit too much. I’m still journied. But there are many more journeys to go, and for those I can’t, well… I can dream them. And this character can tell them all.
So I made Mazyar. While they are called many things by different worlds: Oracle, Wizard, Seer, the Storyteller, ect. He is a Dream Weaver, and he can do many things surrounding dreams. But I will detail that later.
