I think the simplicity of the scenery really enhances the lighting too. Really nice.

I admire the curved surface and/or fish-eye lens effect going on here.
Also, there’s a certain whimsy, maths, and logic to this in general- piles of almost identical-looking books litter the scene, the squares tile in an unassuming and simple way- it’s not unlike a scene from a comic book or manga, where certain techniques are done for efficuency. At the same time, it gives everything a certain flavor, rather than feeling at all “unfinished” or “lacking detail.” It kind of enhances the “school” sort’ve vibe of the environment.
