It’s done… finally, it’s done after 16 hours, which really didn’t feel like such a huge amount of time, but they DEFINITELY were worth it all^^ This drawing of Ori from “Ori and the Blind Forest” really is one of my favourite pieces.
Actually, it wasn’t meant to be that huge, at ALL! It was meant to be kept simple with only focussing on Ori and Sein instead of the background and so on. But I dunno, I just felt like pushing it more and more until FINALLY this is the complete scenery of the forest keeping hope and a little light in the darkness^^
The oh so very beautiful game just inspired me too much to not add bushes, grass, mushrooms, flowers and the spirit tree to this piece. The most fun part though was working on Ori and especially her fur^^ Seriously, it might not be as good as others do it, but damn, how proud I am with how this turned out. It was mostly for practicing matters, but the inspiration and motivation kept me going, I’m just so filled with joy! :D
The mushrooms were a good change and I got to try out stuff with my brushes during the process, which was very relaxing^^ Although the spirit tree in the background was kinda tough and soooometimes a little too difficult, hope you like it anyways that way XD
Working on backgrounds starts being more and more fun (as long as nature is involved XD) and playing around with light is so sweet :D
Alrighty, I think that’s enough rambling, I’m so sorry XD I’m so happy with the result and I hope you like it :D
