at first I simply thought to make a sweet daughter who hated her father, iconzenox-furry-man instead suggested me for this solution XD and I like it a lot

she never seen what happened and how her father died.  
Dianne was sended to study into a School for Elegant Young Ladies, into another city and long time ago, when she was back to London and became aware of her father’s death, in tears she swore bloody revenge on Basil.  
So, Dianne followed the nefarious career of her father and became the new queen of crime in London, but unlike her father, she began to “play” with the detective: at first only joking, playing the cat and mouse with him, but with the time their play became more dangerous, but even more careful.. because they began to feel something for each other, not only hate.
