Description

Patch: “A unicorn! A flying unicorn! Wait until the gang hears about this, I can’t believe this is really happening! Do you know Bright Glow? Did she send you? Where do you come from? What can you do with your magic? Can you give me wings, too? I have so many questions!”
Twilight: “That goes for both of us.”
Speaking of Bright Glow (a one-off character in the My Little Pony Tales episode Up, Up, and Away, in case you were curious), did anyone notice how she and her buddies were all aglow and covered in these little secondary cutie marks? In hindsight those look like rainbow power forms. And there was a pink alicorn with a white and blue mane and parasol cutie mark with them, too. Cadence is pink, Shining armor is blue and white, they’ve already proven they can produce alicorns, Shiny’s cutie mark is a shield, Cadence’s is the crystal heart, the function of a shield/the crystal heart is to protect someone from something, parasols shield people from the elements, more specifically the sun. What if parasol princess hails from an AU where Daybreaker has taken the elements and become unstoppable? Parasol’s part of the resistance and her special talent is anti-light magic. She and her friends confront Daybreaker in their rainbow forms and she sends them to Patch’s world via the Crystal Mirror which, in the comics, is connected to multiple alternate dimensions.
It makes perfect sense.
