I have to say I think the scalie/reptile distinction is useful in the same way the avian/bird distinction is useful. Id more argue that mamilianeque fictional species deserve a super tag with mammals

Anyways if there's no distinction between sergals and mammals, then scaled dragons and reptiles ought to fall in the same group.

Otherwise it just feels like a sort of speciesism
. Only fictional furred mamillianesque creatures are good enough to be grouped in with their real counterparts.
